About This Project

Dave Latham runs a yacht racing charter and sailing school in Gibraltar. He’d already invested in a website and an on-going Google Adwords Campaign though was not receiving enough returns to warrant the expense. The site was bringing in new organic traffic although the sites bounce rate was over 85%, so users were not engaged in the content.

This is a WordPress blog style website used to promote yacht racing fixtures and classes throughout the year, so there is a lot of information and beautiful photographs.

We tested the site fully and recommended changes which bought down the load time of the site from 8 to just over 1 second, slashed the bounce rate by 20% and over doubled the amount of Users and Page Views from organic search in just 3 months.
